Quasar is in joint venture with Adelaide Resources Limited on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.
The joint venture covers twelve exploraiton licences totaling 5,277 sqkm consituting a significant portion of the Gawler Craton within the Eyre Peninsula.
There are three extensive palaeochannel systems within the tenements - Narlaby, Yaninee and Thurgla, each draining from a substantial area of granites showing anomalous uranium content.
The joint venture agreement allows Quasar rights to explore the cover sediments containing the palaeochannels over the full extent of the joint venture area, while the mineral rights in the underlying basement are assigned to specific parts of the joint venture area.
